Hello, question i need to know what distribrutor , and carburator should i use on my 231 v6 from my 1984 pontiac grand prix. If i am correct the engine is a buick.I burned the engine and have decited to rebuilt but with out coputer,i want to make it all old school like my 64 pontiac. Thanks

I have a performer intake for the 231 buick if interested. The 3.8 responds very well to normal performance parts(intake,exhaust,cam,carb). Use a pre computer dist., mid duration cam(depending on gear ratio) and if you have the cash better gears in the rear(3.42,3.55 or 3.73 if tou have a taller tire and aren't too worried about mileage).Email me @ [email protected]
