And a beautiful all black '71 GTO.
My business partner Craig Mueller had one that looked identical to this one, many years ago. He sold it to another friend of ours who lives in Austin and owns it to this day. It was a factory 455 d-port car, TH400, 3.07 posi, A/C, etc. When Craig bought it from a fellow in Ft. Worth, it had the OE short block, with a '69 Ram Air IV top end - heads, intake, etc. Hauled a$$ for a street car of it's day, but it was a spark knocking son of a gun with those 72cc heads and pump fuel! Aw, come on, Vince. You're being WAY too modest posting only ONE pic of that gem.
Don't be shy, post away. Lloyd,
I see you posted a picture of a '71 Judge. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like a car that was on ebay earlier this year. I was so impressed at the restoration of that car that I copied the pictures from the auction on ebay to my pc for reference. I have them hear and would like to share them with everyone here to see what I mean about the detail of the restoration. Go to the following link and then the pictures start at the bottom of the page (the last 8 rows). I'd like to hear your thoughts. http://www.pbase.com/gto1970/toys&page=all Elmer |
