I just installed my new RARE RA exhaust manifolds. I converted from the standard log style. Can someone please tell me the correct way to run the 3 starter wires? On the log Manifolds the cable tube runs between the manifold and the head. Where does the cable tube run with RA? I purchased the right one but can't figure out how to install it. The RA III shield won't allow the wires to go down behind the manifold. Any help would be great.

On that setup the R/A tube is mounted on top of the Drivers Motor Mount..I have a pic somewhere..

On the R/A setup the wires run down the front of the motor, down through that tube under the "Headers" back to the starter.. A better setup in my mind then going down between runners of the exhaust manifold, and I think the Pontiac Engineers figured the same..

That is looking up and back towards the drivers motor mount.
You can just see it.
Unfortunately you are supposed to drill and screw into the mount.. Don't think this is possible without the motor mount out, and possibly the motor up....
you can probobly slide the tube in there, run your wires, and it would most likely stay there forever, without moving. Maybe some wire to hold it..

Thats excellent! I should be able to complete
everything tomorrow. I need to disconnect the
starter wires, run the battery pos & alternator
down the front. The hot ignition wire can go straight down the back. The tube as you say should hold it's self up. Your photo was perfect! Thanks for the help!!!
