I have had some so galled in that it took a pipe wrench to remove them. They broke apart taking them out.

Can of good quality spray carb cleaner....

Berryman, Gumout, STP, K&W, etc.

As Sun Tuned said plus keep twisting it and spraying it. Once it starts coming up a little spray some more ,twist some more. It'll come out.

Take your time. The last time I got in a hurry with one broke the shaft andhad to take it out one piece at a time. Not fun.

I lifted the whole engine up by that darn distributer and it still wouldn't come out. They wanted like 32 bucks and I was on a budget. So here is the engine hanging by the distributer and me with a big hammer. It finally came out but they lost 32 bucks because it was a pile of parts all over the place when I got done.

Wrong oil will sludge the bottom of the distributer causing it not to come out. Good luck
