I've bought from them in the past for Chevelle, Camaro and GTO cars. I used them mainly because they were at the Jefferson Swap Meets (spring and fall), in Wisconsin, and I could pick the items up in person. They usually try to sell you the stainless steel lines. And, in my opinion, the quality of the bends are not too desirable. Maybe the guy, John Kryta (gtoguy69), from Inline Tubes has a better product.

I believe Ames sells Right Stuff lines. I've used both Inline Tube and Right Stuff lines and couldn't tell a difference in quality between them. They both fit great.

All the SS lines on my 71 T/A are from The Right Stuff. Everything fit pretty good but I did have to do some tweaking on a few bends.

I had them make me all brand new steel brake & a fuel line for my 63 Lemans. Very good people to work with & the lines fit great. A teeny, tiny bit of "tweaking" was all I had to do on the end of 2 lines. I supplied them with my original lines so that they would have something to go by.

Please don't even get me started about the right stuff detailing......pass!

I recently bought a fuel pump to carb line and a set of front brake lines for my 69 W-31 from them. They had one price in their catalog and one price on their website. I called and ordered the lines and verified the price, obviously I wanted the cheaper price. The box arrived and I was charged the higher price. I called back and they refunded the difference. The fuel line they sent me was completely wrong. I called them back, explained the situation and the person I talked to went back and pulled a whole bunch of fuel lines to try and get one that would work based on my description and pic from a competitor that I emailed. They sent me another line free of charge. This one was much closer to fitting, but still quite a bit off for this specific application. What I got was for 68-69 400 4bbl (which is also correct for 68-69 H/O with are 455). I later found out a friend of mine (who also owns a 69 W-31) knows the owner of Right Stuff personally and will be taking his fuel line to Dave to have duplicated and I will be getting one of the lines.

I have ordered brake and fuel lines from Right Stuff and Classic Tube many times before. All experiences that I can remember have been good ones.

I just used the right stuff's disc brake conversion. Very unhappy with the amount of tweaking that needed to be done. The front line was so far out of Whack it took me a couple of hours just to figure out how it was supposed to be run(different from the drum brake lines). I e-mailed them twice with no response. And there is no instructions in the KIT.

Would not buyt from them again!!

Dave does his best by making copies of original units provided by customers. How else would you do it. He strives towards excellence, and if you offer constructive criticizm and a possible solution, I have found that he will do everything in his power to help, as he wants correct parts more than anything. I bought a '69 GTO convertible set, found it was off, and took my correct original in to Dave. He provided me with two free sets in my choice of standard steel or stainless. Used one on a friend's car. He explained that best previous pattern he could obtain came to him in three pieces. If you call and cuss and whine, I wouldn't expect equally generous treatment....from any company. Be reasonable and work with them. Also, stainless lines are much harder to "tweak" or bend and don't seal up as well. Main advantage of stainless, of course, is its resistance to rust, an issue that can be addressed through other methods, a light coating of oil, for instance. Your choice, but why not make it easy on yourself. JMHO. Ron

When I recieved my prop valve from them it had NO packing material at all in the box.Now I'm needing a brake line adapter from the lines coming from the rear to the back of the prop valve.Aparently it is a metric thread in,I have checked at several part stores and harware stores and nobody has the metric fittings! :mad:

Opinion is pending. Disappointed with Inline due to their lack of effort, and not admitting their mistakes. Contacted Right Stuff, and had they seem much more willing to help.

So far...so good!
 

Just dropped @ another $1200 with Dave @ Right Stuff. Stayed open late to pull my order on night of their Christmas Party,[I didn't know they were closing early, sorry] shipped what they didn't have for free. So far, everything fits. Good people!!! Thanx Ron

Well, Since i started this thread, I dealt with "Right stuff" while they screwed up and sent me parts I couldn't use, (Wrong caliper bolts, front line that was missing a bend,) all I had to do was call them, and they shipped me the correct parts, FREE of Charge!and next day shipping too!there shipping department needs some work, but there customer service people were very good to work with!

I replaced all of the soft and hard brake lines on my LeMans. Went through Right Stuff also. All was good except the line from the distribution block to the master cylinder (they sent one for power brakes instead of manual). I called up and they immediately sent another and didn't even want the incorrect piece back (didn't even take it out of the bag). They were very prompt in correcting my issue. I'd recommed them ...

every company has growing pains, and RS is no exception. When I started dealing with them, it was Dave...that's it! Then he hired a helper, who has since started another business of his own. Dave now has several younger folks employed, and, yes, they are learning and not yet quite as knowledgeable. If you must have your parts with NO possibility of errors, maybe you could pray, as I know of no other infallable sources. As far as helping out, I have experienced what it seems most others have. Be civil about it and they do there best to satisfy. This has been my experience, anyway. Good luck. Ron

I spent so much time and money trying to get the disc brake kit to work from them it isn't even funny! They still owe me parts.....I finally had to do it all myself and spend more $$$ to make it right.

We have used them for years on our projects and have had no issues. Very good people to deal with.

I bought my fuel lines and brake lines for The Right Stuff and thought that the quality and workmanship was very good. I ordered the lines from them at a Fall Carsile show, they didn't have the lines there with them so they shipped them to me about 10 days later.

Shipping was free, threw in the rubber brake lines for the front brakes as well as the rubber hose going to the rear brakes.
