Have the original clock in my 67 GTO and had the original clock mechanism serviced. Now when I put it back in(No easy task) and hooked it up it gains 10 minutes per day. Is there a way to fix this without taking it out again? How about an inline resistor? Thanks.

My clock does that after i lube it. It will slow down after time. Just keep setting it back and eventually it will slow down .

I know that 10 minutes a day is excessive, but the shop manual says that these clocks need to be reset (adjust the time) once a week anyway. Mine seems to gain about 30 to 40 minutes a week, and it was a NOS that i put in 5 years ago.

Mine's the same way also...
It advances 5-10min's a day.
