I have a 66 lemans I am converting to disc front and was wondering which dual master cylinder will fit my 66 booster. Also IIRC the upper and lower A arms are the same from 64-72 A bodies. is this true? The brakes I will be putting on are currently on my '69 chevelle. which oddly enough, I got them off of a '72 buick. lemans, im running my 67 dual master on my 67 gto with no problems, does this answer your question??

Not sure really. does your 67 have the smaller diameter booster? in the catalogs they list a different booster. so I wasn't sure if I just need a 67 dual or not. I would like to keep the smaller booster for the extra room it creates and I'm not sure wether the large one I have will fit or not. thanx for the reply.

The vacuum assist (booster) makes no difference. If it worked with the drum brakes, it will work with the discs.
When swapping to disc fronts, it's best to use the '69-'72 A-body disc/drum master cylinder. Don't forget to also pull the prop valve from the Buick-on-Chevy brake system and put it on the LeMans.

On another note, you can swap out boosters to the '78-'87 10 inch dual diaphragm booster. Better response and pedal feel. Check my web site here.

lemans i just finished my complete system up, finelines valve and new lines!! awesome kit, I switched to a 9 inch booster off 79 firebird bolted right on!! If you get a later one bolt studs stick out back of booster cannot be used. Anything i can help you with anytime just ask!!
