Ok, I ordered a replacement power steering pulley from a junkyard and I told them that I had a 78 Trans Am with the 400 engine. They sent me the replacement, however, it is a different size than what is currently on the vehicle. Anyone know what the correct diameter is for the power steering pulley? The one on the vehicle is 6" and the one that was sent to me in the mail is 5 1/2". Does the size difference really matter?

Smaller will spin it faster. The biggest deal is if the offset is the same.
