okay guys, i know most of you have had experiences with either one of these carbs so lay it on me, which 1 is better? Fuel economy is not an issue, so which 1 will unleash the poncho to its full potential.
I know, I know... a quadrajet will prob be better if tunned the right way but i want to keep my original carb original 2 pass smoge, this will be for my daily driven 77 Poncho. Thanks guys, and info would be great http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...icon_smile.gif |

Either one will work fine. The Demon will look better.

Dave Bischop (SD Performance) built my engine and recommended either a Holley 950 HP (his 1st choice) or a Holley Street Avenger 870 (2nd choice) for my setup. Because my car is primarily driven on the street and it was less money, I went with the Street Avenger. Dave knows Pontiacs, so I figured I was safe following his recommendation.
