Does anyone know where I can get seat bracket extensions? I need a little more room to be comfortable.

Check with Ames or The Parts Place. I seem to recall someone reproducing these dealer-accessory items.
Otherwise, fabricate some yourself. They only move the seat about 2 inches, as I recall, and shouldn't be that hard to design.
