I've looked for the answer to this, but can't find what I'm looking for.

I'm putting 15" rallys on my 70. Yes, incorrect, but I like em. Anyhow, what is the correct trim ring shape for a 70? Is it a smooth curve from outside to center or flat on the outside then tapered in? I see so many styles, I wonder what is correct?

good choice on the 15 inchers noquie, more tire choices to boot...for 1970, it would be the flat taper ,.not the smooth round. I took slow goats advice & purchased a set of these from opgi $100.00 or so,..I think the originals (for 14 inch) were of the "brushed" type finish.

My 70 came with the smooth curve on Rally II's.
They weren't deep dish like Chevelles, 442's or the T/A's had.

Look at the trim rings on the 1970 to 1972 TA or the 1971 to 1972 GTO. The trim rings on the 15X7 Chevorlet look right flat on the outside.
