just noticed in a recent jeg's catalog that walker offers a DYNOMAX header in 16gauge, "jet-hot"
coating inside and out for 70-81 firebird 400-455(assuming d-port only) for a price of just $242.99. they also have a lifetime warranty that even covers rust! has anyone used these headers? if so have you had good luck with them? JEG'S part number #289-86114 |

my brother had a set of dynomax headers for a 67 GOAT and they hit on the upper A-Frame. I don't know what the case may be with an f-body, hope that this helps.

Have a set on my wife's '69 A-body. Easiest install I've ever had. No problems.

Hey Larry your looking at the wrong catalog. We have them for $249.95 & i just checked Jegs website & they are now $249.99.

Larry, I just put them on my '80 TA a week ago, easy install, they fit great and look better. I just can't wait until this artic hell I live in warms up so I can see how they perform. I would recomend them, very cool. Al

by the way, i never did buy a set of those headers. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif thanks scott!! |
Wow that is old. Someone did some digging to find this one.

Thinking about a set of those for my 1979 4-Speed Trans Am but I don't want to have to beat dents in them with a hammer, damaging the ceramic coating.
Has anyone used these with a 400/4-Speed in a 1979 T/A??? I have heard the clutch linkage rubs...Robert http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...n_confused.gif |
