Well, I bought my 1st 4-spd stick car over the weekend, a TATA in excellent shape. Since this is the first manual tranny car I've owned, what routine maintenance is required on the 4-spd tranny, gear oil etc, and how often ?

Well, I bought my 1st 4-spd stick car over the weekend, a TATA in excellent shape. Since this is the first manual tranny car I've owned, what routine maintenance is required on the 4-spd tranny, gear oil etc, and how often ?

I flush the fluid once a year on my TATA. Should do the same to the differential as well.

What kind of oil is recommended for the manual 4-spd tranny?
