Hi, I would like to know what color the Water Pump/Fan pulley should be for a '66 Pontiac Lemans with a 326. When I took it off the car it was a dull siver color as was the fan spacer. All the pictures of GTO engines I have seen have the Fan and pulley black. Not sure if the 389 and 326 would differ in color combinations.

Also, what color were the cooling lines from the transmission to the radiator?

Thanks in advance.

Water pump is engine color, fan and pulley are black. I am not sure about the trans lines, but I think they were the natural meatl finish.

OMT..thanks for your paint suggestions. The person who painted the engine last must have put the wrong color on the water pump pulley(it was silver).

Thanks and by the way..saw your car at fastvidcars.com...very cool.
