hey got a chance to score on to a set of 670 heads and from the info i got they are from a 1967 400 std HO Valves 2.11/1.77 72 CC or CR Screw in studs- dual valve springs- D port my question is would these heads work better then the 4x1H heads that are on my 1974 455

Excellent heads, but your compression ratio would be 11 or 12:1. Not pump gas friendly. Good low lift flow numbers, one year only closed chambered 400 heads. I run a set on a 400 street/strip engine. If they'll pass magg and you can pick them up for a few hundred bucks, you could resell them.
