I've known Tyler for over 10 years. He is top notch.

Really knows Pontiacs and Musclecars in general. Especially drivetrains. A good source for parts.

However, Don't expect parts to be shipped too quickly as he is on the road much of the season. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g.../icon_razz.gif

I have been buying stuff from Tyler for years. He is a good guy to deal with.

shark landis 03-13-2003 06:48 AM

Tyler seems reasonable, knowledgeable and honest. I've dealt with him in the past and will in the future. Never even heard anything negative, and he's usually at all of our meets in Columbus. He carries alot of items that the Parts Place offers along with some neat rarities in the way of clean used parts. Look for him to grow in the hobby, as he seems to have the "right stuff" as a businessman. Good luck. Ron.

Used to hang out with Tyler and Tom at the swap meets years ago> did alot of biz with both. Tyler always had a "laugh" for ya, great people as is Tom.

Andre 08-06-2008 11:11 AM

A few years back Ronnie Gates bought a convenience store and was running that. That is what Tyler told me.
The last few years Tyler seemed to be helping out Tom sell mostly new parts, but I don't recollect seeing recently.

JLHarper 08-06-2008 12:42 PM

Thats what Ronnie said he was doing last time we talked.
Made his $ selling parts.

limejudge69 08-06-2008 05:05 PM

Tyler is a great guy to deal with. (I realized I left that out of my original post)
Good sense of humor and very knowledgeable.

MHR 08-06-2008 11:27 PM

We seen Ronnie this past spring when I went back down to SC. Ronnie sold the convienience store and now owns a mini storage place. Still out of the GTO parts business.

JLHarper 08-11-2008 08:17 PM

I havent seen or heard from Tyler in some time now.

Wonder what they did with all those parts cars down in the lower forty?

They had some collection.
