I have brand new Richmond 5spd set up for Chevy and have switched my mind to stay all Pontiac. I know flywheel won't interchange but can I use the scattershield with an adapter plate? or is this aking for problems? It will be street strip so if it is weak idea let me know. Thanks

My guess is no as the starter is on the passenger side on a Chevy.

I believe that the more common scattershield that is used on Pontiacs is the Lakewood.
If memory serves me, the only one that fits our Poncho mills is the one intended only for Pontiacs and Olds motors

Problem w/ the starter as forementioned.

Lakewood makes a tough unit. You can find them regularly used here, CP, & e-rape.
