OK, I'm at a loss and my wrists are almost sliced open. How does one gain access to the regulators on the rear quarter windows of a 68 convertible? I took off the access plate but that just doesn't give enough room to get around the extra bracing that the conv has. I need to replace one of the plastic guides and naturally it's the one that's hardest (impossible) to get to. Short of using a sawzall to cut through the bracing I don't have a clue. Help!!!!!!

I'm guessing you already removed the kidney shaped cover. After that, I believe you can remove the four bolts holding the regulator in and that should give you enough movement to slide the window out. If you want to remove the regulator, you need to remove the vertical track first.
