Looking for an Assembly Line Manual for '69 GTO.

I see that '67 and '70 up are available, but no luck finding one for '69. I have the Factory Shop Manual CD already for '68 and '69, but neither shows (that I know of) the assembly of the vehicle - bolts to use to mount fenders, etc.

I've never seen one available.
There is a local guy who handles all of the assembly manuals for 60's & 70's GM cars and he says that they don't reproduce one for a 68 & 69.
In fact, he said that he would pay a lot of money for an original if he could find one to reproduce!
Let me know if you find one!
I have the restoration book, the GM body manual, and the manuals on CD. But there is still a lot of stuff missing!

Yes, the assembly manual for the '69 GTO is FINALLY available!! It actually includes A bodies (GTO, LeMans, Tempest, Custom S) and GP. I bought it from YearOne, no one else seems to have it, yet. It is 575 pages with Tons of information, codes, and diagrams that I've been looking for.

The downside to the manual is that it was $49.95 + s/h (YearOne ripped me for an additional $14 to ship it from Tucker, GA to Nashville, TN so it cost $64 total) but I'm so pleased with it that I would have given $100 for it.

In Y1 catalog R5202, it's on page 195, Part number is AM764.

I looked for this for over 10 years so I hope this helps you guys too.

GREAT!
Can I ask a favor?
I'm trying to re-assemble my 68 convertible.
Can you tell me if there are pictures of the windshield side moldings in this book?
68 & 69 would be the same.
I have the pieces, but I can't see how they fit together.
If it does show these pieces I'll buy the manual and in the mean time beg someone to fax or email a copy of the trim pictures to me (hint, hint).

I have a Ultimate GTO Restoration Guide, I believe the name. Has everything from wiring diagrams to exploded views. Hasnt let me down yet and my 68 was a basket case when I got it and I'm not the most skilled person either.

72 LeMans -

Thanks, but I also have the Restoration Guide in addition to Detroit Iron's CD. Both are lacking detail information I would prefer to have available on and about the assembly - the Factory Assembly Manual is the ticket. Another reference book in the library couldn't hurt either.
