Rocky, I put a fuel system on my car which has really worked well and may help you or others. When I had my 600HP engine, I had a Holley Blue pump with 1/2" line to the front. It worked just fine, but I didn't think it would be enough for 650-700HP. I put a 2nd line in with a BG 280 pump and left the Holley hooked up.I felt the engine needed at least that much gas, but the BG isn't recommended for street driving, unless you buy thier expensive "pulser" box. The BG feeds one end of a "log" and the holley feeds the other end. During normal street or pit driving, the car runs on the Holley only-set at 5lbs-causes no problems. I have a W.O.T. switch on my Dominator and when I need extra gas and pressure, the WOT picks a relay in the trunk which turns on the BG, which is set at 8 lbs.This gives the car all the fuel it needs for those 1/4 mile blasts, but as soon as I let off the throttle, the BG turns off and I am back to 5 lbs. Just in case something fails, I have an overide switch on the dash to either turn on the BG, turn off the BG, or leave it in "auto" where the WOT takes over. This system has worked well and I don't have to worry about excessive fuel pressure during normal driving.
