Anyone done this that can help me shed some light?
Which header to use?
Which motor mounts?
Anything else you can think of?
Thanks in advance.

79 firebird mounts, if you want headers that fit... you have to have them made. a 69 GTO d-port header is close you have to move one tube, contact Ed Quay he specializes in them... sells tons of bolt on parts and roll cages keep the factory style rear suspension... just change it to chrome molly ask Ed for a 82-92 catalog 1-610-323-9560 tell him john Bailey sent ya!!! http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif

Thanks Kid
Glad I read this post... will help out on my project.

So let me get this straight:
Your Honda has 1.6 liters and my bottle of Mountain Dew has 2?

Indian Adventures has Engine mounts that bolt to the factory V8 frame mounts. We will have solid frame mounts by 2/20/03 and headers by 3/01/03. All for 82-92 Firebirds. Fit all engines from 326-455

Ummm... Dick
I removed my factory frame mounts on the 87 Camaro... guess I'll be lookin to repace them. Got a price on the install kit part #10776 and a ballpark figure on the headers?
