Does anybody know if the bullet mirrors on an early 70's A body are the same as a 70-81 F-body?
If not, do you know what the difference is?
Thanks!

John, I use F-Body mirrors on my 69 GTO (A-body) the trick is to flip the base gasket upside down. The gasket has bevel/wedge shape to it, and if it used like the f-body the mirror will look goofy & too close to the window. Good luck w/yours. Guy

Thanks Guy.
I'm actually using them on a 68, but I'm putting 69 doors on it.
I have a mirror on the 68-WAY too close.
Thanks for the info!

I just installed the bullet mirrors this weekend on my 69 Bird. I noticed the way it fit too close to the window, and on a weird angle. I made a new spacer out of wood to reverse the listing to the opposite way. Now it sits really well.....
