What do you think a black 78 t/a with the w72 engine with tan camel cloth interior is worth? All original on a scale from 1 to 10 I would call it a 6 as far as condition goes.It does have the original motor I checked the vin #'s.It's not a y88 car. thanks for any input!

It is very hard to determine a value without seeing the car. Several factors are taken into consideration to establish a value for this car (or any car) such as numbers matching, exterior and underbody condition (amount of rust); interior condition (is it original). A used all original unrestored 1978 W72 Trans Am in average but solid condition (driver) needing restoration, $3-5K

Thanks John! I have two cars the 78 and a 73 formula 455, the 78 is complete and running but has some rust in the front floor pans and the top of the cowl area, and the 73 is a phs documented 455 car with bucaneer red paint and black standard interior,but it's a basket case.I really don't have time for both so I'm considering selling one. I'm leaning toward keeping the 73 due to the low production # of the formulas with the 455. Thanks Brad!
