What brand of 10 inch slicks have the best bite? Not worried about life span, just off the line traction.
I've heard that the Goodyears hook the best, but what about the MT's, Hoosiers, Phoenix, ect...
Nittos need not apply. :D

Thanks!

I've run the MT's and Hoosiers. They both work excellent right after you peel the stickers but I've found the MT's to be a little tougher/more durable. Probably depends on the car a bit, my cars heavy with a surplus of torque. The Hoosiers tend to chunk up pretty bad on it, probably a little softer. Never used the Goodyears personally but have heard good things.

I replaced 28x10.5 M/T's with tubes with 29x11 Goodyear's without tubes. It may not be a fair comparison due to the difference in sizes, but the Goodyear's work much better on my car. They are more consistent and they handle a slippery track better.

I use the MT 29.5x10.5x15. Love em'.

I have run Goodyears,Mickey's, & Hoosiers & the Mickey's gave me the best sixty foot with Hoosier not far behind & the Goodyears well they just looked good on the car. I would not spend the big dollar to buy the Goodyears again. Just my 2 cents.
