I'm currently working on the disc conversion from hell on my 68 Firebird. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, I find the lower hole in the brake pedal is too small for the pin from the new rod to fit through. I seem to remember people saying to use the lower hole for power brakes and the upper for manual. Is this correct?

That is correct. Drill out the hole.

yes, the lower hole is for vacuum power brakes.

a good hardware store will have an assortment of different size clevis pins.

Luckily I was able to get a drill up there to drill it out. Now I need to start shopping for some new rims. Thanks!
