I noticed in one SD 455 site that the 3.42 Posi rearend came only in the SD. Does anyone know if this is true????

Let me correct that. I am talking about the '73 SD 455.

I think the 3.42 was the only ratio available with the SD, however the 3.42 was also available with all other engines in F series except the straight six.

(If that is what you are asking)

That's what I have from the factory in my '73 SD. It was only available in NON-AC cars. With AC you could only get 3.08.
