He seems very knowledgable, and his prices are what I consider reasonable. Has anyone else out there had any dealings with him? And if so, how did they turn out? I have spoken with him and purchased many parts from him in the past. He is more than willing to spend time talking with you to make sure you get what you want & to keep the Pontiac's moving fast! I have dealt with other "Big Names" in the Pontiac world which have very good reputations however it is hard to get phone time with them for obviuos and legitate reasons. Gregg backs his workmanship up and always got my stuff done when he said he would. His prices have also been climbing alot over the last two years so I would guess that is a sign of an increase in his business. (That's my opionion)

He will take the time to discuss combinations with you, and use his experience to ask questions about your goals and then apply toward your application. Hes very knowledgeable, will promptly return all calls/emails, and honest based on my dealings. He strives for happy customers. He has a really nice online catalog with prices.

Greg has helped me an unbelievable amount with my 490. Helping me identify and fix problems caused by the original "race engine" builder or things I did wrong.I have been in his shop many times and seen him drop everything to talk to someone on the phone whether they were buying parts or not. I have watched him check, recheck, and check again the smallest details on the stockest of rebuilds. If the heads were that bad, they should have been sent back so he could flow them and then if there was a problem fix it. Lack of integrity is NOT something that I have ever seen with Greg M.

I haven't done a set of race heads in 2 years, you want 290 c.f.m. D-ports? You have to pay for it . How much did you spend on the " Killer " heads you got?
Got and flow sheets? Got a dyno sheet? Chris Casperson @ performance years couldn't find out who you are . Why do people like you say bad things about some one that is indefensible, and than hide behind a fictitious name? REVEAL youself you SCOUNDREL !!

Guys I am new to the game, but I would like to say in Gregg's behalf, that I have not used his services yet but i plan to. I have phoned Greeg several times and he, as the gentleman said previously, dropped evrything and gave me advice out of the goodness of his heart hang in there Gregg. One of these days im comeing to Denver and go fishing

I have had the pleasure of doing business with greg merrick and many other builders in this business. He was more than fair and gave me good advice regarding an automatic transmission change over. I believe him to be honest and trustworthy in dealing with him. Thanks Greg!!!

I bought a complete engine rebuild kit from him and am happy with my purchase. Make sure you have at least 30 minutes blocked out if you call him. He loves talking Pontiac! He seems genuinely interested in making sure you get the right stuff to meet your goals. I still don't have my motor together, but that's my own fault. : (

HAving done business with engine builders in the past, it's not always easy for them to achieve what the customers want. It's true, you do have to tune an engine to get higher horsepower numbers, but that's not the engine builder's fault. It could be faulty parts, or any number of reasons.

Well I'll say this, I wouldn't do business with anyone else but Gregg! This guy even sat on the phone with me when firing the motor! Not to mention my little RAIII eats LS1's regularly...
