Just this last week, I have noticed a problem with my passenger door.

The door appears locked, yet sometimes the door can be opened from the outside. Have not checked from the inside, but I assume it would act the same way.

Does anyone know what is happening here? In the mean time, I have to double and triple check the door to make sure its really locked.

pull the door panel and lubricate the lock mechanism.
evidently, the little tang that locks the door is not moving easily or it is worn.
