Just wondering where everyone of us 74-76 TA owners are!?!? I can't wait for spring.. I think I put 50 miles on my TA last year. I hope to take it to the TA Nats (me and the wife and no kids) this year. We'll see. Meanwhile, I need a good Poncho mechanic to take a look at her and figure out where the low rpm miss is coming from. Any good shops in Maryland?

There's always the 70-73 and 77-81 forums, that have plenty of info that crosses over to the 74-76 forum.

I miss driving the Formula also here in Salt Ridden Illinois.

Welcome to the board! I'm actually about an hour and half away from you. I'd like to invite you to one of our races (Outlaw Pontiac Drag Series) at Mason/Dixon Dragway. I'm here too... been around forever, I just don't post that often anymore because I'm so busy. I have a '76 Trans Am (pictured to the left) that is listed in the "Tell what bird you fly" topic.

I'm actually working on my fiance's '78 Trans Am now... I have most of the paint stripped, now doing a little body work. I have to get a hold of a passenger side front fender and door though before long.

One other thing, to E. Cox and anybody else thinking of going to the T/A Nats.... do it! Awesome show, last year there were 576 birds of all types representing all years.

Agreed, it is a fine show. I can't say much for the judging but that's just me. It is without a doubt the single larges gathering of TAs/Firebirds you'll find. I've been a few time. Probably won't go this year because PSN and POCI are in my back yard. That 12 hour drive, one way, is too hard on old farts like me.

As for working on cars, mine got a brake upgrade this winter. Dual piston aluminum calipers on the front now and a good rebuild of the back drums. I can now stop the beast without gritting my teeth and clenching my buttocks. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...icon_smile.gif
