I have draglites on my 66 GTO and have been using Mother's for the polish. Mother's seems to be a little abrasive because I can see timy scratches in the direction of the polish.
I would like your comments on what you use so I don't have to go trial and error. Thanks, |

One of the best things I've come across as I have polished a hell off alot of aluminum on my Harley is this stuff called Extreme Polish. It can be bought at a Rima nd Tire place. It actually looks like a small jar of cotton candy. I've owned the same jar for 3 years. A small amount goes a long way, and it does an amazing job for taking the small swirles that Mothers leaves behind. Its like comparing a polished piece to that of a mirror, the results are great.

My neighbor introduced me to a product called "Heavy Metal Polish" cleaner
It is available in 3 different levels of abrasive Coarse, medium, fine. He uses this stuff on all of the polished aluminum components in his blown camaro show car. I bought a bottle of the coarse, for my poor condition step sill plates, works wonders also. |
