My 69 began as a 4-spd and was converted to 400 auto. 4 wires are running to the aftermarket B&M Prostick shifter that control no crank unless in park and reverse lights in reverse.
I recently replaced the B&M with the stock 69 floor shifter and center console but cannot locate a switch anywhere on the shifter to attach the 4 wires for the starter and the reverse lights. My manuals provide nothing I can see to help. Any input is appreciated. Bryan |

That is because it is located on the steering collom! The rod setup on the 69 attatched to the linkage of the Transmission and moved the collar on the steering collom and the collar turned and made a switch work that turned on the lights
