'67 pontiac V-8 4 barrel Quadrajet intake.

67 GTO (or a big car Q-Jet). Jan 09, 67.

The big cars with 400's had the square bore carter carbs on them in '67.

It is either a GTO or firebird intake.

Used on all full size with 428 engine only, FB, and Lemans.

Thats right the 428s did have the Q-jets on them in '67,have'nt run into one together in a long time,I guess my mind could have been clearer on that.Thinking about it,that might be what 242177p was refering to in big cars,either way that should pretty much answer the question for the most part.Never really messed around much with the big cars except when looking for good engine cores.

P.S. all the 326 H-O motors(lemans/firebird) also used the carter square bore intake for the '67 model year too.

Thanks for the info. This was on my 400 when I got it. Now I'm running an Edelbrock performer. Would I be better off using the Pontiac intake ?

Don't give that intake away, as it is a one year only deal, has the heat passage at the front of the mounting base. I always understood the GM unit to make more power than a Performer, which is lighter, but the GM unit was actually a NASCAR design and had longer intake runners. Same basic configuration asused on RAIV intake.
