I have a 67 400 firebird and was wondering if they all had a 160 mph speedo or if that was an option?

ALL 67 firebirds came with 120 mph speedo. If yours has 160 it came from a 68.the face plate is a different color an has more hash lines on the 67, the lens cover on 67 is deeper, the 68 has chrome ring around the edge of speedo.

What would need done to install the 68 160 mph speedometer would you need the lens with the chrome trim ring?

The plastic housing (guage carrier) is the same and the clear lenses are interchangeable. Hence, you only need the guages themselves.
