Since my engine broke, I had to remove the valves to check for bent valves. I got to inspect the heads.

I had filled the exhaust crossovers with aluminium. I used a Hi-temp adhesive/putty to fine tune the exhaust bowls, because my aluminium shrunk slightly after the pour. This stuff was easy to work with, and it is holding up so far. I bought a 4 oz tube, and I used about half of it do do both heads. I forget what I paid for it, I think it was about $26.00, but I am not sure.

Also if I remember correctly, I plugged "RESBOND 907" into a search engine, and it located a company in NC, which sells if by the tube.

It is ok if the aluminum sits down in the crossover as it really doesn't effect intake flow or exhaust flow. I would be worried that putty would break away...if it does it could nick your valve seat or worse.

Yes .5", it is still where I put it. I even put some in the end exhaust bowls, I created ramps on the uphill side of the guides
