I recently changed my converter to a tighter one(3900 to a 2900) for NOS useage now when I give the car full throttle from a stop it acts fine until the secondaries go to full throttle then it studders real bad, when I let off the gas it floods out and blows out black smoke.I dont have alot of experience with dominators moistly 4150s,Ive tried increasing squirter size to 50 and it seems to lessen it,should I just keep going with the wire drill? This is in a 3900lb car with a 468 with 6x heads 3.42 rear and a victor intake,Or should I rip it off and install a 4150 with my old torker.Car ran a best so far of 11.91@115 in 100 plus degrees and heavy humidity.
Thanks, Roger |

I would think the 4500 would be a little much. Go back to the 4150 series.

Well I figured it out,It was the Bowl gasket pinching off the rear squirter orfice, not allowing a full shot.Car runs great, gone back to a 35 squirter and it launches nicely. Yeah I agree about it being to big,But I love the look, plus I hit it pretty hard with the NOS.
