Did any of you notice the exhaust on Jeff green's car as it flipped? Nascar is running a true X exhaust at restrictor plate races now, they use to run one pipe to the side of the car, I checked with a friend who works for Yates racing and he said they found more power with the X installed and dual sides for the lower rpm used at restictor plate races. (read under 7k) Tom hand: It looked like more of a round section that the pipes went into and out of, than the normal X pipe we see? Is this a chamber, and your thoughs on how it would it help? My newspaper had a Pic of the underside of the car on the front page. Thought it was interesting.

Dave, I had one of the NASCAR systems here once and the angles are so sharp that it may be just ot looks that are deceiving. I saw the flipped car too and noticed the crossover. Boyd (Dr. Gas) does some really sharp (angled) work on those and I am amazed at the angle the pipes feed in and out of the junction. They do sound good don't they?
I also saw a junction the other day on Hot Rod TV that looked to have more of chamber like the MAC systems do for Mustangs. Tom Hand
