'68 GTO: The Other Quater

O.K. the back side of the GTO is just about done, I did the rocker panel yesterday, today I fitted the driver's side quater, this side did'nt fall on like the other side ,I just had to make a small cut in the door jam part of the new quater to get it to line up ,the only problem I had was my door hinges on the driver door are worn out ,so I had to pick the door up a little as I closed it ,other than that a few minor adjustment's ,and a few final welds, and the rear of the car is finally done ,bottom line ,Dynacorn makes a nice panel ,I ordered a driver's fender ,also made by Dynacorn, from the info I found out they are supposed to be on new tooling ,supposed to be from 1006 steel ,three times stronger than original,so the problem's of the previous repop's are pretty much gone ,or so I'm told...we'll see if they are anything like the quaters, it'll be no problem...It's been two year's ...at least now I seem closer to driving my car.
