Has anyone ever bought from these guys? There in Georgetown, SC. Just trying to see what sort of reputation they have.

Some of their inventory looks very iffy!

A few years ago I bought a Trans Am from them and it was everything they said it would NOT be. In other words I was ripped off. Might be new management now, but LOOK OUT!!

Thanks for the info, this starts to explain things. The guy in Iowa that I bought my car from said he bought it from these guys back in 2001 for about 13,000.00. He wasn't happy with it when he got it. He bought it sight unseen. When I went to look at the car he handed me some papers he got with the car and there was the PHS he didn't seem to know what it was. I saw it was a ram air 3 car loaded with options so I checked the vin # to make sure I was looking at the right car and the vin's matched. I kept looking for signs of the list of options and only found the power antenna, headlight doors for the hideaway's and the bracket for the ram air pull cable. Of course I bought the car on the spot, and towed it home. After stripping the car down I found the ends of vaccume lines and wiring harnesses cut off and left laying in the doors and quarters. I believe the car is worth restoring to original. I just would like to find out why and who would strip this car of every single option and all the ram air parts including drivetrain hood w/tach, deck lid w/spoiler. It's a very solid car with minor rust in the floors and quarters. I quess I'm just venting and wondering if anybody thought that Low Country Classics was the type of place that would strip a car of it's options and put it back together as a gto and sell it for good money with an impressive PHS. Not that it matter now except for warning other's to be carefull

I was working about 50 miles from Georgetown a few years ago and decided to drive down to check them out. I was not impressed with the car. The prices were high for what they had.

Basically with the TA I bought from them they took a car that was sitting in a field for 30 years and sprayed it with paint and sold it to me as a Fresh 455 HO NOM. The car did not run nor shift, plus the tires were shot (they told me they would put on new ones) They really need to be put out of business.
