Coolant fan switch location - '95 Firebird 3.4L??

I'm posting this for a friend. Can someone tell me where the coolant fan switch/sensor is located on a '95 Firebird Auto w/3.4L V6??? He's looking for the switch or sensor that controls the electric fans.

Fans on that model should be ecm controlled through engine coolant temp sensor (ecm input sensor). Primary should come on at 230 degrees, secondary will come on depending upon engine temp and a/c pressure. Primary will cycle off at about 210 degrees. Very reliable set up--tey turning on a/c and checking for fan/s coming on at idle when head pressure builds up...this will verify most of the circuitry, relays, ecm control, etc.....

Okay, thanks! The temp sensor was easy to replace. It's right on top of the drivers side head. He just bought this car and someone had wired the fan directly to a fuse thats hot when the key is on. So the fan runs all the time but it also shuts off when he turns off the key.

I mentioned to him that the coolant fan switch (or maybe even the relay) may have gone out and some idiot just straight-wired it not knowing what he was doing. He's trying to get everything put back together correctly now.
