65 console door
 

Can anyone tell me if the 65 console door is supposed to be completely flat, or does it have a slight indentation to it ?

Should be flat, perhaps someone has sat on the console at one time and put a slight bend to the pot metal (zinc), seen several this way, a common problem. Be careful if trying to bend back into shape for you will most likely carck the pot metal (zinc) but can be fixed via silver soldering the fracture.
