Post to HT door differences?
 

What are the differences, and can they be overcome? I have a texas HT door but am told it will not work with a post. Why?

Take a look at it and see. The HT door has no frame around the window as part of the door, and the post door does. There is no way to convert them, at least no way that would be worth the effort. Still plenty of doors around.

Ya, I knew that, just wondered if it was possible to convert with a reasonable amount of effort. I'd actually prefer a skin as the inside door shell has no damage and is perfect. The door took a hit dead center with no damage to the peremiter. I've been calling dealers trying to find a nos skin in the attic, no luck so far.

I believe the post doors are a little longer as well. I base this on the experience I had buying a set of used interior door panels. I have a '68 Lemans convertible and the door panels were about an inch to long. My guess is they were from a post car.
