70/71 exhaust splitter question
 

I have a question about exhaust splitter for 70 and 71. I was looking at my original set and comparing them to a NOS set that I have and I noticed a couple of things. 1) The NOS set is longer by about 3/4". 2) The original ones did not have chrome all the way up the single pipe. Is this correct? I was also curious about reproduction tips. Do they look just like the originals? Are the welds correct?

I'm pretty sure there were several production runs that would account for the differences. The $99/pr repro's are pretty much exactly like the one on the right. There also is no part number stamped on the repro's.
