1st epoxy primer job
4 Attachment(s)
I just finished epoxy primering the inside and underneath on my 68 goat. It was the first time I ever used a spray gun. My father-in-law showed me the ropes because he used to paint airplanes. I completly stripped from the speaker panel (would love to know the correct name for this panel) all the way around to the last cross support by the trunk. Under the dash was not very fun but a little at a time and it was done. I think I am doing ok since I've only had the car for 10 weeks.:)

Excellent Job, It looks very nice. Something I would be proud of.

Looks great Johnny. The rear shelf where the speakers mount is called the package tray and the section between the backseat and trunk is the trunk divider panel. Looks like a nice clean car. If you need any 68 parts drop me a line I am selling a bunch of 68 stuff from an A/C car which is see yours is also.

Indeed it's coming along well for only 10 weeks.
Nice web site you set up. See you have the mandatory GTO tin pictures on the wall, hu? Can't help but love these cars. Just like a woman she'll treat you nice one day and kick you in the nuts the next. It's a long road but I think the best part is working on her. Enjoy it, Carlos. |
Thanks guys for the responses. I really appreciate it. As you can see I have a long road ahead of me. I look at it as full scale model. At least I can look at the real thing instead of pics on the wall.
