Bryant Pontiac Covina Ca. 1973/1974

I remember when I worked at Bryant pontiac in Covina between 1973/1974 I would prep the new cars as they came off the trucks. The salesman would sell a T/A and they would have us install acessories that the customer requested. I woiuld be told to switch wheel styles and we would pull one set off one car and put them on another, and by the way I never remember changing the spare wheel over just the four on the car. Stereo swaps were very common the parts department always had 8 track players and also aftermarket stereos in stock to install. Can you believe that some people wanted body side molding installed on a T/A. This was done by using aluminium strips which we would cut and pop rivet on the cars. the molding was then pressed into the aluminium channel. Lots of mods were done at the dealers that were not documented on any paperwork. Remember what some people think is not original just have been done at the dealership when the car was sold.
