I dont have any 63's, but it looks just like my 61-62's!!

Looks dangerous, but yes that looks like the one on the sticker underneath my deck lid.

No doubt about it, it is a 61 to 63 Tempest jack.

MrPushrod 04-04-2007 02:49 PM

What's it worth?

KJB 04-05-2007 07:11 AM

These jacks aren't extremely rare but I'm sure there are several Tempest owners out there with an incorrect jack in their trunk. I have never seen even a nice one bring $100 before. I'm guessing the range for yours is $40 to $80 but who knows. Sometimes Ebay buyers go nuts. If you advertise it, make sure it will still jack up a car first.

Hi, If it is functional I'd go $50 plus shipping on it, I need one for my blue car. Thanks, Pete

The last one I saw on eBay went for $39, but that was a while ago. I got one at a yard in better shape than the one pictured for $20. They're rare, but the demand for them is next to nil.

Pete, I'll bring it to work on Monday and estimate the shipping costs....
$50 + shipping sounds good to me.

Free it up & put a few drops of oil here & there for me, would you, make sure it clicks up & down all right? Thanks, Pete
