motor mount 64

what style of motor mount is correct for a 64 gto. My car was purchased with a bb chevy in it and I am about to replace it with a 428, but I think I'am going to find something foul under the chevy.

Chances are someone replaced the two stamped steel crossmember engine mount brackets with some from a big-block Chevelle. Repace them with two (left and right are different) from any '64 -'72 V8 Pontiac A-body car, they bolt onto the front crossmember.

Engine mounts themselves are a cinch, '64 -'72 A-body V8 mounts (rubber/steel) are all the same. Except for the wider 455 mounts, and even then they are not necessarily needed to mount a 455 anyway.
