SD Performance
Dave Bisschop totally impressed me; he has to be one of the most modest guys around. I finally made the trip up north of the border (about an hour) and I have to say that I'll be buying all the remaining pieces for my motor from these guys.
He took the time to walk me and my brothers around his shop; showing us the 5-axis CNC machine- I don't think I'll ever see so many Edelbrock heads in one place again! I'd just like to repeat myself and say, that for being THE authority on all things having to deal with Pontiac head porting, Dave is completely modest and polite. Really a great guy. |
I plan to make the drive up. How far from the border is his shop? Travel time from border?
Thanks |
There is a reason we use Dave for EVERY single one of our magazine articles. Very simply. He is the BEST! And the nicest, mellowest guy you will ever meet!

I have to agree! The times I've talked with Dave he has been very helpful and very nice.
|
Can't remember the actual time; but has to be about 20-30 mins from the Sumas Border crossing to his shop (near Chilliwack).
If you were coming from Seattle; I'd guess that you'd cross at the Peach-Arch Border; in which case it would probably take you closer to an hour beyond the border. |

ok, thanks

Dave spec'd out my motor combo and gotta agree he's a super nice guy to talk to. When he ran into a porosity pocket in one of my e heads and had to scrap it, he gave me additional port work at no charge for the delay. Even though the problem had nothing to do with anything he did.

He is one of the best. He gets all my business in the future.
|
It's not just Dave guys, His parther Marcel is top drawer also. SD has built two engines for me and will be my sole source in the future.
|
If it weren't for Dave, I would not be knock, knock, knocking on 11's door :D
