Wheelie Bar ?'s
I'm ready to get wheelie bars for my 65 LeMans tube chassis car and was wondering if it would be best to get a set with the spring loaded bars or will solid ones work. I've seen them both ways on a variety of cars, but never took notice as to what cars (E.T. wise) have what set. Thanks D. Miles

i'm assuming your tube car is a four link setup.
most of these cars like a long solid bar. at the very least 64 inches but most are between 72 and 84 unless you have a power adder, then it starts at 84 and goes up from there. i see a few of the outlaw 10.5 cars run a spring loaded bar, but on a big tire car it's usually not needed. |
From what I can determine back half'ed cars and those with length limitations on wheelie bars do better with spring type. Tube chassis cars usually have long solid bars.
