350 olds in 77 TA

Is it possible for a 77 TA to have a 350 olds in it from the factory. Im going to look at one this weekend and the seller says its original. TIA

Itd probably a 403 or was replaced with a 350 Olds.

77-79 T/A's that were built for sale in California came with 403 Olds motors.

They did actually put a 350 Olds in some 77 Firebirds that were built for the California market,so check the VIN to be sure it's a REAL T/A,not a clone.

The 5th letter in the VIN designates factory installed engine type.

350 Olds is X
403 olds is K

As I recall, the 350 Olds oil fill pipe is slightly curved & 403 is straight.

If you want to post the VIN here,we can decode it for you.
