Will a torque converter from a turbo 400 work in a turbo 350?????

Yes.

As forementioned, yes! but why... back in the old days the trick with a T-400 equiped car was to find a T-350 converter as they were smaller (lighter rotating mass) and a bit higher stall. With that said, unless you have a performance torque converter from a T-400 that you want to use on a T-350... Thanks D. Miles

The reason is I have a turbo 350 with no conveter that is fresh rebuild and my buddy has a brand new t/c for a 400 turbo I can have for free @ about 2500 stall

It is ironic that we call it a torque converter yet rate it in RPMs. Shouldn't the converter be rated in Ft. lbs of torque?
What I am getting at is that the converter needs to be designed to match the torque curve of the engine infront of the tranny.
So, pulling a 2,500 converter out of one engine and putting it in another may not work if the torque curve of the second engine is different.

Can I ask a question here? My convertor just went out and I run a stock 350 eng. auto trans. with a th350 trans. and i was wondering if i can put a T C with a stall? I don't know anything about TC's. :doh:
Please advise.

Sure you can install a converter with a different stall. Make sure to supply the manufacturer with some specific information about your car.
When Butler provided me with a TCI transmission and a 2,800 rpm "Flash Stall" converter, it was after they reviewed some specific info.
Such as: rear end ratio, cam specs, compression ratio, etc.
Keep in mind what rpm your car is turning when driving down the road. If you have a high rear end and at 60 mph you are turning less rpm than where TC is locked up, you will be slipping.
But, before you install the TC, you may want to check the tranny for metal.
